The EG Solutions team is excited to be chosen by the Professional Services Committee (PSC) at MCO and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) as the firm to provide Master Stormwater Planning Services for the Orlando International Airport.
The project involves airport water management engineering, planning, and environmental services in support of developing an overall stormwater management, and related infrastructure, plan for Authority owned property. The stormwater master plan will include and reflect current conditions and future development plans, to the extent possible, for the entire Airport campus. It will also consider upcoming rule changes from the 2020 Clean Waterways Act.
Our efforts will be to ensure that the Airport remains in the forefront of stormwater management design and permitting as the rules are changing. Our expertise from writing, and currently updating, the Statewide Airport Stormwater Best Management Practices Manual for the Florida Department of Transportation will provide the Airport with the opportunity to optimize future development of their property.
