EG Solutions proudly salutes our veterans today and every day! This year we chose to give back locally at an annual event called Manatee Stand Down. Our team assembled 120 hygiene bags for homeless veterans in our local community. At the event on Nov. 5, we were able to lend a hand making hundreds of BBQ sandwiches for attendees. It was amazing to see our veterans getting much needed health screenings, haircuts, assistance with veteran services, clothing, hygiene supplies, and so much more. đź’™
Manatee Stand Down is organized by Turning Points, an amazing local organization that provides, facilitates, and coordinates services to men, women, and children who are homeless or are at the risk of homelessness in Manatee County. Some of our littles-in-training also helped put flags at the graves of veterans at local cemeteries in honor of their service.
