EG Solutions is thankful to be able to contribute back to our community in meaningful ways this year. We kicked off our season of giving by donating 20 thanksgiving dinners to local families through All Faiths Food Bank. The Food Bank was founded in 1989 by a group of individuals who, through their respective organizations, were feeding the hungry. It is the only food bank and largest hunger relief organization in Sarasota and DeSoto counties.
Next, we rallied together to fill an SUV full of gifts for Forgotten Angels from the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. The Salvation Army helps those families who may have to choose between paying rent/utilities and buying Christmas presents. In a typical year, they put new clothes and toys under the tree for 1 million children who usually must go without Christmas gifts.
Wrapping up our season of giving (see what I did there 😉), EG Solutions donated laundry baskets filled with essential needs (diapers, wipes, laundry detergent, bathing needs/hygiene supplies, onesies, and a plushy for the littles ones to love) to the Community Pregnancy Clinic in Sarasota. They provide a wide range of services for women experiencing unexpected pregnancies and other health concerns as well as provide free maternity clothing and baby items (clothing, diapers, formula, and other essentials) to those in need.
