Scott Brady was a speaker at the first general session of the NASAO Annual Convention and Trade Show titled Innovative State Aviation Programs. He attended on behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to provide an update to state officials nationally about the findings from the FDOT Statewide Airport Study, current changes to the Best Management Practices Manual that are underway and reflect impacts from the FDEP Clean Waterways Act rulemaking, and what’s next for Florida airports regarding stormwater management.

Founded in 1931, NASAO (National Association of State Aviation Officials) is dedicated to representing the interests of the states and the public before policymakers at the federal level and is the only organization deeply invested in representing the public interest in all facets of aviation and airports. NASAO’s 91st Annual Convention & Trade Show was held on September 10-14, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, SC.
